B.D. Wong and Richie Jackson
B.D. Wong, renowned for his successful TV and film career, truly shone in his role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Beyond the screen, Wong’s talents graced the theater, earning him accolades, including a Tony Award for his performance in M. Butterfly. In his personal life, Wong openly embraced his identity as a gay man and embarked on a relationship with Richie Jackson back in 1988.
However, their journey took a heartbreaking turn when their twin sons were born in 2000, with one of the twins tragically passing away just ninety minutes after birth. This devastating loss cast a shadow over Wong and Richie’s relationship, eventually leading to their separation in 2004. They remained dedicated co-parents to their surviving son.
